I think I'd like to talk about the question that no one really wants to ask out loud at the clinic which is the topic for today.
My sister's FET is coming up in a few days, and she's trying to figure out if they're allowed to get intimate, some clinics say to avoid it entirely after ovulation trigger or transfer prep starts, others are like, eh, just not the night before, I've even seen posts where people say it can help with uterine blood flow or oxytocin or something? and then others say it might irritate the uterus or affect implantation.
Honestly, it feels a bit ridiculous trying to Google sex before embryo transfer while also meal prepping pineapple cores and checking her progesterone levels like a lab rat, this whole process already has her and her husband overthinking everything, do we really have to add a chastity clause?
