How soon did you test positive after FET?

My friend had a 5 day frozen embryo transfer recently, I'm really happy for cos she has 2 prior failed transfers and now shes in that lovely TWW spiral of symptom spotting and googling everything, just wondering for those of you who've been through this or know about this, how soon after your 5 day FET did you get a positive test? I know the clinics usually say to wait until beta day, but I've seen some people get faint lines as early as 4 or 5 days past transfer, dont want her to drive herself crazy (too late) so I'm trying to find out info for her

Totally get it, TWW can be a rollercoaster. For a 5 day FET, some people do get faint lines as early as 5 days post transfer but most solid home test results show up around 6 to 9 days past. Still best to wait for beta day for accuracy.

Yeah, the TWW can really mess with your emotions. You might see some faint lines early on, but waiting for beta day is the best way to get a solid answer.

Total emotional rollercoaster, it's really common not to see anything until about 6 to 8 days out and even then, it can vary depending on the embryo, implantation timing, and sensitivity of the test, if she's testing early, remind her that a negative before beta doesn't mean it didn't work, it might just be too soon

I can totally understand the urge to test so early and i know a few friends that got two lines 5 days post transfer. But here's the thing, the reason what they say it's best to test it on beta day it's because on day 5 you might get negative test result because it's actually so early but it can affect you mentally so much which you don't really need that at the moment. I would suggest waiting for beta day and i wish your sister a big luck :)
