Progesterone suppository questions

I just started progesterone suppositories last night and honestly didn't notice much...nothing even leaked. But I've heard plenty of horror stories, with some saying they're worse than the shots. Why do people dislike them so much? Do the side effects really get worse after a few days?

Why do people dislike them so much?
A lot of people dislike the suppositories because of the sheer messiness. Unlike the shots, which absorb into your muscle, the suppositories can partially melt and leak throughout the day.
It doesn't happen to everyone, and a lot depends on the brand and how it's inserted. It's not necessarily a sign of a bad outcome, just a gross side effect that can be a nuisance to deal with

So it's mostly about the messiness and potential leakage. Does the discomfort or side effects tend to get worse after a few days?
