Checking this on behalf of my sister who's on undergoing IVF. haven't been pregnant myself so just would like to check if having dry lips is a sign that she's pregnant or pregnancy implantation? aside from the usual symptoms, what else should she look into? thanks!

Hello there, hoping for the best for your sister's IVF journey. @Twinmaker hit the nail on the head about symptoms varying widely, so dry lips alone aren't a smoking gun for pregnancy. With IVF involved, her clinic's official test will truly tell the tale, and they are the best folks to ask about any unusual signs she might be experiencing.

Everyone's different, so I can't say it's definitely a sign or not a sign. My first ones were fatigue and very mild cramps which almost felt like bad gas.
Agree on how everyone's different. I think what you need to do is read a lot of forum posts (replies here and some WebMD type of articles) so you'll collate all the possibilities and just make a checklist. Good luck to your sister.

When my cousin went through IVF, her first clue wasn't any of the classic signs you'd expect, it was these random nosebleeds. Isn't it wild how everyone experiences this journey so differently? Just like you all mentioned. Sending so much love and strength for your sister's upcoming path, she's got this!
