Cyst delayed my sister’s IVF cycle

IVF cancelled due to cyst showing at baseline after 3 weeks on ocp. Her e2 came back high and the clinic said it might be leftover from last month. Has anyone had the cyst clear fast enough to stay on track for the next cycle or does this usually push things out further?

Yeah, my friend had the same thing happen and her cyst cleared by the next cycle without needing anything else. As long as her E2 levels drop, they might let her start right away.

I appreciate you sharing this positive story. It gives us some hope. Knowing that this can resolve on its own within a short time is helpful. Do you remember how long your friend's E2 level took to return to baseline?

It was about two weeks before her E2 was back to baseline. The clinic kept checking every few days, and once it dropped, they moved forward right away.

The two-week window lines up pretty closely with what happened for my sister. Her E2 started dropping about ten days after the baseline scan, and the clinic monitored it every few days just like your friend's did. By the end of week two, they gave her the green light to move forward with the next cycle. She's now back on meds and scheduled for her next scan early next week. Hoping things stay on track, but it's reassuring to hear others have had similar timelines.
