Antihistamine protocol for Implantation support

I recently came across a simple antihistamine protocol some women are using for implantation support, especially after failed IVFs or suspected immune issues. The idea is to calm the immune system just enough to help with embryo implantation.
The basic protocol:
Start at 4 DPO
Take 25mg Benadryl 3x/day and 20mg Pepcid daily
Continue through 10 DPO
Both are OTC and target different histamine receptors. There's anecdotal success from women with autoimmune issues (endo, thyroid, etc.) who didn't respond to other treatments. One woman reportedly got pregnant the first time trying just Benadryl post ovulation after multiple failed cycles, I think this is something worth asking my RE about for the next round

That's really interesting about the antihistamine protocol. definitely something you can talk with your RE at your next appointment

that's very interesting, but is this method approved by the doctors?

Good question, so from what I've seen, it's not a standard protocol and most REs don't officially recommend it, well maybe not yet...but some are open to discussing it, especially if autoimmune issues are suspected

Yeah, it's not really common yet, but some REs are starting to consider it, especially when autoimmune issues are involved. Have you come across any cases where it's worked out pretty well?

It's really important to talk to your RE first. Antihistamines might impact implantation timing and could interact with other fertility medications. Some clinics have similar approaches for handling immune-related implantation problems, so it's definitely worth looking into with a professional.
